Pirates in the middle of a dark forest? Yeah, it’s true. Their galleons can’t be found on the Mosel in the city of Epinal but in the new pirate themed area of the French theme park Fraispertuis City.

On June, 6^th this family fun ride has been opened for the public just right to the high season and got a highlight in the park from the very beginning.

Six boats, each equipped with 8 cannons travel along sunken ships, scary skeletons and hungry sharks on this about 150 meter long canal. Many interactive targets can be found on the way and activate spectacular effects such as a large fire boost from the exploding rum barrels. But every pirate won’t exit the ride dry – not only the targets on the lake shoot back to the boat, but also the landlubbers have many water cannons to splash all the riders in the floating boats. A spectacular fun for all young and old pirates!
